Occupational health and safety is one of the most important priorities of our company. Our comprehensive HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) policy that we implement as an integral part of our work process and corporate culture provides the conditions required for the continuous health and safety of our teams. Believing that all risks are avoidable, Esta provides a safer working environment for its staff with the measures it takes against any kind of pollution, danger, accident and other possible risks via planned trainings in all of its projects in line with the “Zero Risk” HSE policy, which is based on ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System).


Esta provides a safe environment not only for its employees but also for its contractors and visitors by taking preventive measures and eliminating possible hazards in all its projects and considers HSE Management System as an uncompromisable value.

Therefore, for each project, the management teams prepare substantial, comprehensive and separate Project HSE Management Plans consisting of 5 basic steps, which are:

  • Formation of HSE policy,
  • Planning and implementation,
  • Performance measuring/monitoring,
  • Inspection and review,
  • Realizations of improvements and regulations.

and aim to a positive HSE culture within the organization through the instrument of “Quality and HSE Manual” which clearly sets out all roles and responsibilities for each member in the organization.

We, as Esta, recognize that the human resource is the most important component to achieve the objective of “Zero Risk” HSE, and nurture managers and teams which:

  • Sensitive to possible dangers, conscious, responsible and proactive-minded and committed to the achievement of the HSE objectives,
  • Pay utmost attention to the performance of all duties and tasks safely in accordance with the HSE standards,
  • Meet the requirements of the environment protection and improvement processes.

All managers establish and implements discipline procedures and reward programs to manage the HSE management system in a more effective way.

Monitoring is important to maintain and improve HSE performance. We, as Esta, believe that a proactive system monitoring the plans’ success and level of compliance with the standards before the occurrence of any accident, incident, disease or environmental risks is a key factor in HSE performance.

Managing the risks with lessons taken from the past experiences through inspecting and reviewing ensures remarkable improvements in HSE preventive actions. Therefore, in Esta Construction, we regularly carry out internal and external inspections.

Environment, safety and health, in fact, are the highest priorities. Esta Construction recognizes and acknowledges how important is to achieve a performance at the world’s standards with regard to the protection of the HSE as an integral part of our corporate culture. All personnel are encouraged to be actively involved in HSE programs and they are ensured to have the training on the subjects they need in order to sustain the success of the “Zero Accident” policy.

The recruitment process of the company is based on “equality of opportunities” and carried out in line with the criteria set out in the Personnel Regulation. The main objective of recruitment process is to select the right person for the right position in the light of the values, vision and strategies of the company and to integrate the candidates having the competencies and qualifications required by the relevant position into the organization.

The process starts with firstly the announcement of the vacant position through in-company posts firstly within the company. This way, it is aimed to fill the vacant position based on the recommendations by the members of Esta Construction family.

The process continues with the job postings in the career portals, considering the applications and firstly phone interviews and then face-to-face interviews with the qualified candidates.

In the end of all these processes, waging studies are carried out for the candidates to whom the job is offered in accordance with the personnel remuneration criteria and the process is ended with the submission of the written job offer.

Pursuant to Esta Human Resources policy and standards, all candidates applied for a particular job are responded positively or negatively upon the completion of evaluation process.
